Kochi : Actor Prithviraj has sustained serious leg injury during shooting for Vilayath Buddha. The accident occurred while filming for a fight sequence at Marayur bus stand early this morning. The actor was rushing out off a KSRTC Bus in the scene, when he fell.
Prithviraj is admitted to a private hospital in Kochi where he will undergo a keyhole surgery during the day. The actor will reportedly take a break for a couple of months as per doctors’ advice before resuming work. The filming is meanwhile put on hold.
Vilayath Buddha’ is adaption of GR Indugopan’s novel that goes by the same name. The movie revolves around two men - Bhaskaran Master and smuggler named Double Mohanan, played by Prithviraj - vying to lay claims on sandalwood planted by a farmer.
