Shimla : Actress Vaibhavi Upadhy of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai fame has died in a car accident early Wednesday morning. She was 32.
The accident took place in Banjur area in Kulllur district of Himachal Pradesh. Vaibhavi was traveling in the Mumbai registered Fortuner with her fiancé when the vehicle car veered out of control while negotiating a steep turn and fell into a gorge. Vaibhavi reportedly tried to get out of the car by hitting the window, but sustained a head injury that proved fatal. No further details are available so far. The actress’s family will bring her remains to Mumbai tomorrow and last rites will be performed at 11 in the morning.
Vaibhavi appeared in several more projects besides the Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai series including films Chhapaak, Kya Qasoor Hai Amla Ka etc
