Thiruvananthapuram : Cinema-serial actor JK Pillai passes away aged 97. The end came at his residence of Idavayil Veedu in Thiruvananthapuram.
Pillai has acted in over 300 films. He served in the Army for 13 years during which, he met with actor Prem Nazir – an acquaintance that paved way for entry into films.
Pillai played his first role in 1954 movie “Snehaseema” followed by notable performances in Ashwamedhum, Pula, Nair Pidicha Pulival and Karysthan.
