Bengaluru : Popular actor and son of Kannada late superstar Rajkumar, Puneeth rajkumar, has died of cardiac arrest. He was 46.
Puneeth was admitted to ICU of Vikram hospital in Bengaluru early this morning after suffering a heart attack, where he was stated to be “non-responsive”, “serious” and being under Cardiac Asystole and Advanced cardiac resuscitation. Fans and prominent citizens including the Chief Minister rushed to the hospital hearing of his condition.
Puneeth started his career as a child artist in 1985 film Bettadu Hoovi, wining the National Film Award for Best Child Artist that year. As adult, he debuted into lead role in Appu released in 2002. His hit films include Abhi, Vera Kanadiga, Arasu, Raam, Hudugur and Anjani putra among other.
