Kochi : Police in Ernakulam registered case of rape against popular blogger and actor Srikant Vettiyar based on complaint lodged by a woman native to Kollam. According to the woman, Srikant lured her to hotels twice and abused her sexually on promis of marriage..
The woman in her FB post said, “Allegations against Srikant on “Women Against Sexual Harassment” page made controversy twice . I am one among the many Srikant used for his varied needs. Over and above monetary exploitation there was emotional abuse too”.
Srikant earned popularity as a YouTube blogger. He also got to play small role in films.The Ernakulam Central police are trying to track his whereabouts after failing to find and bring him for questioning.
