Mumbai : The Bombay High Court’s Oct 29 ruling granting bail to Aryan Khan is now out, and says there is no evidence of Aryan Khan’s involvement in drug deal conspiracy on cruise ship. In its ruling, the judge says that WhatsApp chat exchanges between Aryan Khan Arbas Merchant and Moonmoon Damech do not appear to be of suspicious nature.
The ruling cites that Aryan Khan had no drug in his possession at the time of his arrest. His co-traveller Moonmoon Damech was carrying 6 gms of charas, 5 grams of hashish. There was no medical test done to determine if either of the men consumed drug. Traveling together in a ship cannot be viewed as a crime. The NCB has failed to establish that any among the accused did drug deals, said court in its ruling.
