New Delhi : Business magnate, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, popularly known as “Big Bull” or “India’s Warren Buffet” passed away this morning. He was 62. The end came at Breach Candy hospital, where he was being treated with condition deteriorating in the past few days.
Jhunjhunwala was a self-made trader, investor tycoon, who from childhood watched his father - a retired income tax commissioner - play the stock markets. The fascination become Jhunjhunwala’s career - a journey that took him up and journey to rungs of multi billionaire.
Born on July 5, 1960 to a Rajasthani family, Jhunjunwala was raised in Bombay. He did his degree at Sydenham College, passing out in 1985 after which he enrolled at Insitute of Chartered Accountants of India and married Rekha Jhunjunwala, also a prominent stock investor.
