Kochi : With stock exchanges across the globe crashing from Ukraine war, gold rates are racing up once again.
Gold spiked Rs 800 on a pawan(8 gm) in Kerala on Monday, quoting at Rs 39,520 for one pawan. It is proverbial gold rush with investors worldwide turning to safety of the yellow metal, triggering current surge in its price.
A pawan in state now sells for a minimal of rs 43,800.
