THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : 10 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the state today, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said in a media briefing Thursday evening.
There were eight recoveries from three districts – 6 from Kasaragod and one each from Kannur and Malappuram.
Of the 10 new infections reported today, 8 people were arrivals from neighbouring states and 2 from abroad. Four of them caught the virus from close contact, source for others are being verified.
Kerala has to-date reported 447 cases of the virus. 129 people are currently under treatment. The number of quarantined individuals is steadily on decline with present tally being 23,876. 148 people were moved newly into hospitals today. 21,334 samples have been tested so far.
