Kottayam : A 10-year-old died tragically falling off a moving train near Mullavattom. The victim was identified as son of Malapuram Mambadpllipadam native Kandanthottka Sidique, Mohamad Ishan.
The accident took place Monday night 11.30 pm. The child was part of a family group returning after attending a wedding in Thiruvananthapuram. Ishan was walking back the train’s bathroom when he suddenly lost grip and fell outside. Relatives quickly pulled the chain bringing the train to halt.
In a search conducted along the tracks, the locals and family found the child’s lifeless body. Ishan’s body is stored at the mortuary for postmortem.
