Faroqh : A 15-year old in Kollathara’s Rahman Bazar met with tragic death after drowning in a pond where he had gotten with his friends for bath.
The victim is Sangeeth, son of Sanoths Kumar and Sindhu , residents of Rahman Bazar. Sangeeth was student of Govt Higher Secondary School in Cheruvannur.
The accident took place at 1.30 pm this afternoon. Sangeeth didn’t know swimming and drowned slipping into the pond’s depths. His friends raised cries when they saw him drowning and although neighbours rushed and fetched Sangeeth outside, it was too late despite reaching him to the hospital.
