Kannur : LIFE Mission enjoys wide public support; there are 14 lakh people in State eligible for home under this project, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at the handing-over ceremony of four housing complexes built hy the government for the those without land and house. The flat complexes were being inaugurated in Kannur’s Kadampur.
Apart from Kadampur LIFE flat complexes were also handed to beneficiaries at Kollam, Punalur, Kotaytayam , Vijayapuram and Idukki’s Karimannur. The 174 houses were completed under the 100-day Program to commemorate the second anniversary of this government.
At Kadampur, the Chief Minister handed over house keys to 44 beneficiaries. Local Self-govt Minister MB Rajest presided at the ceremony. Ministers KN Balagopal and J Chinchurani. handed the home keys to families at Punalur. In Kottayam’s Vijaypuram, Minister VN Vasavan gave the keys and Minister Roshi did the ceremonial handover in Idukki’s Karimannur.
