Koilandy : Police on Saturday arrested maternal grandfather of a 19-year-old suicide victim in Koilandy.
The girl was found hanging inside her house on 17 Dec and the police suspicions revolved around the girl’s grandfather right from the beginning. The suspicions were confirmed after the suicide note left behind by the girl was found and mentioned sexual abuse by the 62-year-old maternal grandfather as cause for her suicide.
