Kollam : A collision of fish van and mini bus in Chavara left four fish workers dead and several injured, of whom two remain in critical condition. The deceased were identified as Thiruvananthapuram Pulluvila natives Karunanvaran, Barkumans, Vizhinjam native Jestin and Tamil native Biju.
The accident took place at 12.30 past Monday midnight. The mini bus carrying fish workers bound from Thiruvananthapuram was headed for Bepur when the fish van crashed onto to it. The two in critical state, Vizhinjam native Roy Marthandam native Varghese, are admitted at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. Others injured, are hospitalised at Taluk Hospital.
The mini bus had 32 fish workers on board at time of the accident.
