Kochi : All arrangements are complete in State toward conducting the SSLC, Higher Secondary (HS) and Vocational Higher Secondary (VHS) exams. HS and VHS exams will commence on the 30th and SSLC on 31st.
47 lakh students are giving their exams this time. 1,92,000 teachers and 22,000 non-teaching staff are being deployed for smooth conduct these exams.
An assessment meeting was held Friday chaired by State Minister for Public Education, V. Sivankutty. Principal Secretary AVM Muhammed Haneesh and Director K Jeevanbabu reached the DD office in Kochi to attend the meeting. Regional Deputy Director, ADMR and DDMAR also participated in the meeting online.
At the meeting, the minister said the exams must be conducted flawlessly and all security measures arranged.
Security arrangements pertaining to question papers are complete as of now. All delivery settings will happen on 26th, i.e. just 4 days before the exams. If there be shortage of invigilators, DDO, DDE and other teachers shall be pressed into duty.
Answer papers have been reached to all exam centres. All Education Officers must visit exam centres at the time of exams, the minister instructed.
Students are advised to bring their own drinking water. Counseling for students will be available. For students giving their VHS exams there will be tele-counseling available with “How are you?” program lasting until the last of exams are over. For students writing their Higher Secondary exams, there is available “Help” program to allay any anxiety. Also, Exam Helpdesk shall be set up, the minister said.
SSLC Exam results will be declared on 10 June.
