“Accusations Tagged By Advocate"; IG Lakshman’s Letter Out

Thiruvananthapuram : Referring to petition filed with the High Court, IG Gugulloth Lakshman wrote to the Chief Secretary stating remarks made out against the Chief Minister’s office were beyond his knowledge.

Apparently, the remarks have been put there by Adv Noble Mathew who is a BJP leader and Vice President of the BJP Minority Front, the IG said in his letter, adding that, he has instructed Mathew to withdraw the petition.

Context : In the petition filed by IG’s lawyer with the high court, there was a comment saying ‘an extraordinary constitutional authority” was functioning in the CMO.
