Kochi : Cinema-serial actor CP Prathapan passes away aged 70. The actor, Chendamangalam Puthupadiveetil Prathapan resided with his family in Prashanti Veedu, in Elamakkara's Pudukalavattom.
Prathapan worked as Regional Head of Marketing with India Today in Ernakulam and was earlier the General Manager at Jeevan TV. Prathapan has also worked in the marketing department at Kala Kaumudi and Indian Express. He played roles in over 30 serials including Stree and Manasapurti and has also acted in films Thachiledath Chundan, Lion, Achan Urangatha Veeedu etc.
Cremation will be held Friday at 11 am at Edapally crematorium.
