Kochi > Actor Siddique has expressed his willingness to appear before the investigation team in the sexual assault case. He informed the team by sending a letter. The investigation team announced that questioning will take place next week, stating that they will take his statement after issuing a notice.
Siddique's arrest in connection with the case of allegedly sexually assaulting a young actress was stayed by the Supreme Court for two weeks. The court ruled that the petitioner could not be arrested based on the conditions set by the trial court until then. Following the Kerala High Court's rejection of his anticipatory bail plea, Siddique approached the Supreme Court.
The complaint alleges that Siddique sexually assaulted the victim after calling her to the Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram in 2016.
