Kochi : Crime Branch has begun questioning of actor Dileep and other accused in connection with alleged conspiracy to kill the lead investigator in the actress assault case of 2017. Dileep arrived at the Crime Branch office morning 9 am Monday. On day one of questioning, he was grilled over 11 hours before being allowed home. The accused persons have been questioned for 33 hours now starting Sunday, following ruling from the High Court.
Questioned on the first day at Kalamassery Crime Branch office were : Actor Dileep, his brother Anoop, brother-in-law Suraj, driver Appu and friend Bayju Changanad. The questioning helmed by Crime Branch SP M. P. Mohanachandran follows revelation by film director Balachandrakumar on the alleged conspiracy to execute investigating officer.
