Actress Assault Case : No Objection To Court Considering Demands In Survivor’s Plea, Says Govt.

Kochi  : The government on Wednesday informed the High Court   it was on side of the survivor and further that  it had no objection toward  the court considering demands raised in her plea. The government also gestured favourably to the survivor’s demand for investigations under judicial supervision.

The government was responding to survivor’s plea claiming the investigations were being sabotaged.

There will be questioning of court staff and subsequent action  with regard to leak of assault visuals, the prosecution said.

The  memory card was accessed twice, the prosecution pointed out to court. It was vied on 9th of January ,2018 and again on the 13th of December in the yearend.

The prosecution submitted to court the  report from  Forensic Science Lab(FSL) to substantiate its point.

Dileep is in possession of the assault visuals.  The memory and files relating to the case might have been accessed multiple times before 13 Dec, 2018, the prosecution said.

Meanwhile, the hearing over  Crime Branch petition seeking re-investigation is slated tomorrow.

Actress Assault Case 2017: In the case the survivor, a popular actress, was  on way from her Thrissur home when she was  waylaid on the outskirts of Kochi by a gang. After hi-jacking her car, the prime accused, Pulsar Suni, molested her and captured visuals of the act on mobile The entire  crime is alleged to have been  perpetrated at behest of actor Dileep.
