Kooranji : In Koodaranji, CPI(M)’s Adarsh Joseph has been elected as Panchayat President. Adarsh defeated UDF’s Molly Thomas Vathalur in a 5 - 2 lead.
Adarsh is member of CPI(M) Local Committee in Koodaranji , member of DYFI Thiruambadi Block Committee and member of the Meghala Committee. The seat had fell vacant after LJD’s Jose Thomas Mavra stepped down as per agreement with LDF.
