Thiruvananthapuram : MP Adoor Prakash has links with the assailants who killed two DYFI workers on the midnight of Onam eve, said Minister EP Jayarajan.  Findings indicate the culprits called Adoor Prakash soon after the the crime; MP’s  role in the murder conspiracy should be investigated, the minister added.

Earlier Adoor Prakash had come up on television saying he had intervened to help the party workers with the case. Phone records showing  call placed by one of the culprits, Ajith, had surfaced on media.

The murders were committed with prior knowledge of high-level Congress leadership and  the assailants called Adoor Prakash to let know their job was done, said EP Jayarajan.  Further, the minister said  Congress has formed gangs tasked with killing missions and more murders in queue to be perpetrated in different districts.  On the eve of Thiruonam, Congress laid bloodied carpet instead of a floral one, the minster added.

A similar murder attempt was made by another gang of Congress goons on another DYFI worker Faisil a few months ago. Adoor Prakash had intervened at that time to ease charges against the culprits. And in what appears to be more than a coincidence, those very men, whom Adoor Prakash had helped escape then, are perpetrators of the present double murders too.
