Thiruvananthapuram : The 13th National Conference of All India Democratic Women’s Association is here. The Torch Flame Procession, Flagpole March and Flag March in prelude, will take off at 3 pm from three historic destinations today.
Flag March : The Flag March will be taken out from S. Saradamma Memorial in Karamana 3 pm, inaugurated by former Health Minister K. K. Shailaja who is also the Central Committee Member of AIDWA.
Torch March : The Torch Flame Procession will take off from Com Ammu Martyr Memorial, Vazhamuttom, inaugurated by P. Satheedevi, All India Joint Secretary.
Flagpole March : The Flagpolet March will start from Com.Devaki Warrier Memorial, Medical College, inaugurated by Susan Kodi, State President of AIDWA.
The three parallel marches will congregate at at Mallu Swarajyam Nagar (Putharikkandam Maidan), where P.K. Sreemathi, Chairperson of the Organising Committee and All India Vice President of AIDWA will unfurl the Conference Flag amids a sea of red pomp and celebrations.
Torches from the earlier 12 National Conferences would be brought into the venue.
