Kochi : The State air ambulance once again took off from the capital carrying live human heart for a patient hospitalised in Kochi.
Kottarakkara native Anujith is the donor. Anujith was under treatment following a severe vehicle accident and had been declared brain-dead later.
A Thripunithura native, at Kochi’s Lissi hospital will be transplanted with Anujith’s heart. The air ambulance left Thiruvananthapuram this morning 11 am.
