Alapuzha : AK Antony acknowledged Anil Antony’s choice of BJP politics, said the Congress senior’s wife Elizabeth Antony. I acknowledge son’s political perspective and am confident he will come up on a lot of opportunities through BJP, said Elizabeth, adding that AK Antony regained his health through prayers and inner confidence. She was speaking in an interview with the Kripasanam YouTube channel.
‘My husband was mistrustful. The issue of mistrust was resolved and he regained mobility. I had prayed for help to him after he lost faith in politics. On last 15th, when he was unexpectedly inducted into the Working Committee, AK Antony accepted it. He undertook the travel alone with confidence,’ said Elizabeth.
Elizabeth said it was her son’s biggest dream to enter politics and Chintan Shivir passing resolution against ‘kids politics’ had left hime in a bind. My son landed a good job after his education abroad. However, he had keen desire for politics, which is why he headed back. However, with the Chintan Shivir resolution against children entering politics, he realised he had nowhere to go. Besides, my husband would not make any effort to bring children into politics. I stand firmly by Congress. However, I acknowledge son’s choice of politics, said Elizabeth in the interview - the content of which is now heatedly debated on social media.
