Kochi : The accused in AKG Centre attack case secures bail from High Court after remaining in Crime Branch custody since 22 of September. The ruling came from Justice Biju Abraham Friday.
The defense lawyer argued the case was fabricated and that there existed no evidence against the accused Youth Congress Attipra Mandalam President V. Jitin . The prosecution said there existed evidences and also that the accused used bomb in the blast. Besides, three others involved in the case are absconding, the Prosecution pointed out.
Jitin was earlier denied bail by Judicial Magistrate court in Thiruvananthapuram. The High Court hinged its ruling on ground that Crime Branch was done with interrogation of Jitin.
