Thiruvananthapuram : According to sources, the woman leader accused in AKG Centre attack was tucked away in a five-star suite booked by K Sudhakaran. After prime accused in the case, Jitin, was arrested on 22nd September, the woman was shifted to a five-star hotel located in Thrissur’s Puzhakkal where KPCC president K. Sudhakaran had booked 4 rooms in connection with Jodo yatra.
Sudhakaran’s personal staff Vipin had escorted the woman to this hotel and there she stayed, from 23rd of September up to Aryadan Mohammed’s funeral day of 25th. Then, as details of the operation started to trickle out, she was tactfully shifted and Vipin, who enjoys close association with Sudhakaran, quietly resigned his post.
While in hiding, Vipin provided the woman with a new SIM. Sudhkaran used this number to communicate with the woman while in the locality and outside.
In retrospect, Sudkhakaran’s reaction to the case development was full of intrigue starting with his theory that the main suspect Jitin was fed drugged candy to elicit false testimony.
