Kochi: Sathith, the RSS worker accused of murdering 15-year-old Abhimanyu in Vallikunnam, Alappuzha surrendered to police. He turned himself in at Palarivattom station in Kochi and will shortly be handed over to police in Kayamkulam.
Pictures showing Sajith attending RSS training camp surfaced widely on social media yesterday. The 4-member RSS gang attacked Abhimanyu, stabbing him to death, on the ground east to Padayanivattom temple on Wednesday when the Vishu festivities were on.
Abhimanyu, a class X student at Amrita School, Vallikunnam was an SFI worker. He hails from a traditionally communist family and is son of Ambili Kumar from Ambili Bhavanam, Puthenchanda and late Veena.
Kashinath(16) and Adarsh(18) who rushed to the spot were also attacked and gravely injuried.
