Thiruvananthapuram : Police on Thursday took man into custody who they believe murdered the woman in Kuravankonam in city’s Ambalamukh. The suspect, Rajesh, was nabbed from Nagercoil and is a Tamil native who worked at a tea shop in Ambalamukh. He had sustined injuries during the crime and dressed his wounds at Peroorkada govt hospital before heading to his native place.
The motive was robbery, the suspect told police, though questioning is still underway and cops are yet to recover the gold chain missing from the Victim. The investigated focused on the man captured on CCTV found walking away from the place of crime around the time it occurred.
