Kannur : An Arabic male teacher was arrested for sexually assaulting school girls. Nabbed for the crime is Arabic teacher at UP section of Thalliparambu Higher Secondary school, Cheriammakal Faisal(52) - a native of Kodotti in Malapuram.
Failsal has been a teacher at the school for four years now. His sexual assaults began in November of 2021 when classes resumed after lifting of Covid restrictions. Around 20 girls were subject to his sexual advances. He has been booked under POCSO. The alleged crime came light following complaints from a few victims.
