Thiruvananthapuram : The Opposition Leader VD Satheesan came up with strange logic that his friction with Sudakaran was meant to prevent the latter crediting him wholly for election victory. ‘It is true that there took place argument with Sudhakaran during press conference in Kottayam after Puthupally election. Sudhakaran had said the whole credit for election win goes to me and I tried to prevent that statement at the press conference,’ said Satheesan on Wednesday.
Frankly, there’s no truth to that statement. ‘The argument was like this - While leaving for the conference, Sudhakaran said the whole credit for election victory goes to you. I intervened to say, nothing to that effect should ever be said. To this Sudhakaran said, he was the KPCC president and hence will make the first address, which is why I moved the mike away’, Satheesan told reporters on Wednesday.
Satheesan’s bizarre explanation comes in the wake of a video viralling on social media. The footage shows VD Satheesan and K Sudhakaran arguing with one another at the press conference held at DCC office after Puthupally elections.
