Kazhakuttam : Youth Congress Mandalam President arrested by Crime Branch as prime suspect who hurled explosives into AKG Centre, is a thorough criminal with extensive record. Jitin was arraigned as main accused in the murder attempt on SFI leader in 2016 and 2019, later attempt to murder Kazhakuttam Area President Adarsh and attacking DyFI Unit President RV Shah in Kollathukara.
Chequered Past : Jithin is also charged for the suicides of Kulathur brothers in 2013. In the incident, the brothers Sreejith and Nideesh jumped in front of running train ending their lives. A gang of Congress workers led by Jithin had brutally beaten them earlier and later lodged a fake police complaint accusing the brothers of stealing Jithin’s gold chain. The false case and assault was too much for the brothers to endure, leading them to the extreme step of committing suicide.
Police in 2017 nabbed Jithin for drug dealing. He soon became the Attipra Mandalam President developing close connections with senior leaders of the party.
Jithin is mastermind behind all major criminal assaults that Congress perpetrates in the district. He also has real estate going on the side. Much of conspiracies Jithin hatches are done at a lodge he controls. Several bigwigs including Shafi Prambil, Chandy Oomen, MA Vahim, Oomen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala have met Jithin in this lodge.
Jithin lives at Krishnavilasam house close to NSS library in Kulathoor. His father Vinaykumar is murder accused and mother Jiji has faced charges for theft. His brother Nidhin is suspect in computer theft case from Technopark and also accused of harassing women co-workers.
