Miscreants Target CPI(M) LC Member’s Scooter, Auto In Arson Attack : Kannur

Kannur : Miscreants set on fire a Activa scooter and autorickshaw belonging to CPI(M) Puzhathi Local Committee member and Puzhathi Co-op Bank employee, Pala Biju. The vehicles were parked in front of his house in Rama Street, Pallikullam.

The arson took place early hours today. The flames doused in time so only the tyres became charred. The arson was executed in an area that’s largely peaceful and free of conflicts. Locals had objected to movement of drug-liquor peddlers at odd hours. Police suspect drug gang as possible perpetrators.
