Thiruvananthapuram : On Saturday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan formally announced the Health Department’s newly-commenced campaign titled “Be The Warrior”. CM released the campaign logo by handing it to the Health Minister Veena George.
The campaign chiefly aims to reduce severity of the third wave and step up vaccinations in the state. Through intensified mitigation efforts, Kerala has been able to protect much of its population from Covid this far in the pandemic. As vaccines become available, the government will endeavour to speedily inoculate all, said CM
Soap, mask, social distancing(SMS) - should be followed meticulously. Only authentic guidelines issued by authorities should be shared. Reverse quarantine should be adhered to. The aged, children and bed-ridden persons should be safeguarded from catching the infection. The campaign also seeks to create the right greater awareness among certain segments of the society. Efforts will be intensified via print, visual, audio and social media to raise awareness on the importance of individual role in Covid mitigation, said CM.
