Sreekantapuram : Police are looking for the husband of deceased Reuters sub-editor and Kasaragod native, Shruti(6) who was found hanging in her Bengaluru home on 20th  this month.

Shruti took her life from mental and physical torture at hands of  her husband Aneesh, said Shruthi’s parents. Police corroborated that claim with their own finds they included in the FIR.

Shruthi had bruises from beatings and also bite marks on her body. Neighbours testified the couple had frequent fights at home. Aneesh installed CCTV inside their home to spy on Shruti all time and also recorded all conversations she made.

After  Shruti's death, Aneesh left Bengaluru on 24th saying he was going  to his parent’s home in Chuzhili. However, his father said Aneesh never arrived there. Police from Bengaluru are meanwhile headed  to Chuchili hoping to find him.

Shruthi is daughter of retired teacher and writer Narayanan Peiya. Shruti and Aneesh were married four years ago. She took job with Reuters 9 years ago before which, she worked as journalist in England.
