Bineesh Kodiyeri Gets Bail

Bengaluru : The Karnataka High Court on Thursday granted bail to Bineesh Kodiyeri – a respite comes after one year of arrest.

Police initially arrested Bineesh alleging sale of drugs – a charge that was dropped in their FIR subsequently. He was then turned over to Enforcement Directorate(ED) and came to be charged for money laundering. Though jailed for a bailable charges , Bineesh’s attempt for bail was consistently rejected up until High Court in its ruling today issued bail albeit tagged with conditions.
