Thrissur : Though it was presumed for BJP to get a ‘kozhikutta(big egg)’ in Thrissur, it managed to get a seat. Instead, it is Kerala that got presented with kozhimutta in the Budget, said K Muraleedharan, responding to the media query on Budget having nothing for Kerala.. Though people of Thrissur had big expectations of Suresh Gopi when they voted for him, it was of no use, he said.
Modi’s guarantee is no guarantee at all. They are empty words. In the total of 60 Lok Sabha constituencies of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, BJP got just one seat and they are unable to do justice to that one seat too. When I made submission for AIIMS two years ago, the reply I got said it was being considered. AIIMS came to be handed to various states, it not for Kerala. All things, including land acquisition, are in place. Still Kerala continues to be shunned, Muraleedharan told reporters in Thrissur.
