New Delhi : BJP’s National Executive slammed State Leadership for the Party being unable to register growth in Kerala. The BJP'’s Kerala unit, came under criticism at the National Executive meeting held in Delhi. The meeting assessed that, even Tamil Nadu - where Sangh Parivar organisations are weak – has witnessed greater growth than iKerala.
The State unit has failed to take the Christian community into confidence, the meeting observed. A section of leaders opined that it is lapses on part of State Committee headed by K Surendran, that’s reason for the situation.
Earlier, the State Prachari, Prakash Javedkar, had hinted that Surendran will continue as the State President. A group of leaders has slammed Prakash Javedkar for coming out with a statement of such organisational significance at a public event.
Meanwhile, a particular pocket believes that, to the faction looking to replace K Surendran with MT Ramesh and another trying to promote Vatsan Tilankari as successor, will now use the National Executive’s criticism for leverage.
