Kozhikode: Members at KPCC slammed K Sudhakaran for his pursuit and concern of ‘black magic’ presence, saying it was shameful of him to be fostering such superstition in an age where humans are tripping to Moon and Mars. It is pitiful of a Lok Sabha MP to put up such behaviour as to propagate superstition, they said.. KPCC Political Committee member Shanimol Usman criticised Raj Mohan Unnithan too for abetting bizarre beliefs.
At the camp, leaders also criticised for not having yet implemented the decisions arrived at Chintan Shivir held in Kozhikode and the last conclave held in Batheri. Senior leaders said these events were being held for namesake only with no action followed up on or forthcoming.
Black Magic Backdropt: Video surfaced on social media showing a man digging remanants of Koodothram(black magic) close to K Sudhakaran’s house in Kannur. The digger is seen cracking an earthen pot and removing copper coins and idols stuffed inside. The widely shared video also has background conversations at the scene between K Sudhakaran and Raj Mohan Unnithan, where the KPCC President is heard telling "this(Koodothram) perhaps is the reason for my health issues". Several such items is said to have been dug out from around Sudhakaran’s house following the first find.
