Kochi : The case of missing 5-year-old girl from Aluva has turned to be a homicide. The body of the deceased child, Chandini(5), was found behind the market buried lying in the garbage dump.
Chandini is daughter of Ramdhar Tiwari, a Bihar Bihampurpur native, who lives on rent in Mukkat Plaza. The body was found inside of a gunny bag at the dump site at rear end of the market.
A Assam native, Asfaq Alam, who came to live in the same building as Tiwari two days back, abducted the child. In his statement ot police, Asfaq said he handed Chandini over to another person in exchange for money. Asfaq said, he traded the child with help of a friend and that the man who took the child away was Zakir Hussain.
