Statement Released By CPI(M) State Secretary

Members of public must be assembled in peaceful protest against bomb attack on AKG Centre, said CPI(M) State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan in a statement.

For quite a while now, there has been deliberate attempts to transform the  State into a communal battleground. The bomb attack at AKG Centre is a fallout of such  effort.

Statewide, strategies are played out  to provoke people who love this party like their own life. For some days now, the rightist forces  are indulging in attack of party offices, public burning of party flag and attack on media houses like Deshabhimani. The party workers must see through and act vigilantly against these conspiracies including the latest attack on party centre. To fend off  activities perpetrated by the Congress - BJP nexus, we must  garnering public participation aginst  it in peaceful manner.

Recent incidents show those that conspired to attack the Chief Minister and  accorded floral welcome to the guilty, will stop at no limits. Congress, BJP and all communal forces are up unitedly against the Left. All comrades must get public to defend against this kind of politics by upholding high political ideologies.

Those loving the party must take care not to fall prey to ploys designed by the UDF,  like the current bomb attack on AKG Centre, said Kodiyeri Balakrishnan in the statement.
