Kannur : News from media cannot be wholly trusted, said PK Kunhalikutty, referring to the bribery allegation against Personal Staff of Health Minister Veena George. Speaking to reporters in Kannur, PK Kunhalikutty said it would be possible to comment only after there is clarity to the case, adding that, there is a lot of ambiguity in news one hears.
PK Kunhalikutty also said ED’s investigation of Karuvannur will weaken the cooperative sector. ED’s widespread inspections of the cooperatives will translate into destruction of that sector. Cooperatives are a sector that belongs to everybody. It should be protected. The issue shall be discussed in UDF meeting, Kuhalikutty told reporters, adding that, Muslim League is eligible for a third Lok Sabha seat.
