C-Dit To Handle Covid-19 Data; Services From Sprinklr Now For Upgradation Purposes Only

Web Desk(Tvm)Updated: Thursday May 21, 2020

Kochi : The state government on Thursday informed High Court that all data pertaining to Covid-19 has been transferred to the C-Dit-owned cloud,  Amazon.

Amazon is one among the 12 clouds approved by the Centre and audited by central agencies at regular intervals. Amazon has entered into an agreement with the Centre assuring no data will be disclosed outside.

C-Dit has  come into possession of the software developed by Sprinklr. Thus, services of Sprinklr staff would not be necessary anymore. The staff  need to be summoned only for software upgradation purposes and. At no point will they be in a position to access data, the govt told HC.

No response has been forthcoming despite requests to Centre for a new software, the state govt said in its affidavit. The petition filed by K Surendran is not legitimate while affidavit submitted by Ramesh Chennithala appears dubious,  the govt informed the court.
