Thiruvananthapuram : The Cabinet in its meeting today decided to give away cash awards to medal recipients from Kerala at the 19th Asian Games held in China’s Hangzhou - Rs 25 lakh to those that won Gold medal, Rs 19 lakh for Silver and Rs 12.5 lakhs for Bronze winners.

Administrative Approval For Revised Estimate.
It was decided to grant administrative approval to the SP Project relating to constructions of educational complex at Pinarayi Village that includes an Open Theatre, the revised estimate of which amounting to Rs 258 crores was submitted by IHRD Director.
Land for house construction to Col PV Manesh
It was decided to give cost-free land for house construction to NSG Commando PV Manesh from Kannur’s Azhikode, who sustained serious injuries in Mumbai’s terror attack.
5 cents of land marked for irrigation project bearing resurvey no. 42/15 shall be given free using government’s special powers for public interest.
Contract staff for projects
64 staff shall be appointed for timely completition of various projects under Kerala State Land Untilisation Board for the financial year 2023 - 24.
