Thiruvananthapuram: Conspiracy is underway at centre somehow wreck the Kerala Model and the malice enjoys full support of UDF in Kerala, said CPI(M) acting State Secretary, A. Vijayaraghavan. Two UDF MLAs are currently lodged in jail. Both are League leaders. Vigilance case is closing in on two Congress leaders. All these are not out of the blue. Rather these legal consequences have happened on concrete evidences bit upon during probe.

Kerala govt offers 40 percent more subsidy to its paddy farmers than declared by the Centre, said Vijayaraghavan.  And, generating 5 lakh jobs over five-year-tenure is the Left government’s flagship achievement. The govt enjoys wide support having tided over multiple crises successfully with public wellbeing and welfare at heart.. The centre apparently is unhappy over this.  Therefore, it is out to ruin the state model using central powers.

Circumstances as we have today are unprecedented in the country’s election history.  They are being hounded by ghost of their own doings. UDF is headed for pathetic electoral defeat. Elections this time around will bring added development to the state. Overall state progress is the government’s chief aim, said Vijayaraghavan.

Masses will not accept BJP’s efforts to gain ground by inciting  Hindutva extremism. And also set to fail is UDF’s drive to mislead the public here. UDF leaders, ontheir own accord,  are becoming targets  social media ridicule. They become jokes themselves when trying to justify ties with contrasting ideological outfits. People of Kerala can tell contours  apart.

Chief Minister is head of the election campaign, clarified Vijayaraghavan. CM is  participating in virtual rallies at each of the 36,000 polling booths across the districts. These rallies are joined in by lakhs of people, said Vijayaraghavan.  The election campaign puts forth milestone achievements and government’s deliveries on its promises. The social security pension that lay at Rs 600 was raised to Rs 1400 and will  soon become Rs 1500 in the coming month.

The Chief Minister is the core  strength  of this election campaign. Regarding rumours the Opposition wove around CMO, the Chief Minister has already clarified facts. CM took initiated legal measures against persons involved in wrongful conduct. The CM and govt seeks truth of the matter.

Those guilty must undoubtedly be punished. That’s the perspective Chief Minister always held. The Kerala chief minister is one of most disciplined personalities  of the communist party. We have observed national agencies acting as political batons for the centre  during the course of their probes. Except for creating sensation through select  media leaks, these agencies  have not been able to bring the guilty to justice in a manner that’s understandable by public.

If law follows its due course there is no room for blame. However when it gets  misused  politically, there would arise criticism, said Vijayaraghavan.
