Centre’s Financial Embargo On Kerala Has Media Support : MV Govindan

Alapuzha: Media including Manorama are in support of financial embargo imposed on Kerala, said CPI(M) State Secretary MV Govindan.

When Centre constricts Kerala financially, the RSS takes advantage and tries to create divisions among people via polarisation. The Manipur scenario can be made to repeat  just about anywhere. Kerala is the only place that puts up resistance. The Opposition is repeating allegations it raised two years ago in the Assembly. Unfounded allegations are  being  leveled against the CM and his family members on constant basis. The State government stands for the people even in the face of economic crunch. All projects announced shall be brought to completion. The final decision rests with the people. Their verdict would once again be in favour of the government, said MV Govindan.

Having couple of alphabets to right side of one’s name does not make a leader. It is the awareness  one arouses among other people that marks a leader. P Krishna Pillai was like a magnet that drew people to him - a comrade who had within him communism, revolutionary spirit and love for humanity. Pillai’s history is a textbook to learn from - one that everybody should be able to copy into their own lives, said MV Govindan.

The Party secretary was speaking at memorial meeting of P Krishna Pillai at Vallichudukattu.
