Kochi : The UDF Coordination meeting is slated later in the day at Kochi. Timed amid friction between the Muslim League and Congress, the former Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala has informed he was attending.
It is from widespread dissent the senior leaders harbour that Chennithala chooses to keep out. Chennithala said, in the past, senior party leaders were informed well in advance of leadership rung meetings, but all that has changed.
Meanwhile, there is also discontent among the allies over soft-Hindutva notes made by AK Antony and some other Congress leaders. The meeting today is scheduled to discuss that subject too.
