Tbiruvananthapuram : Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan returned to capital on Tuesday after 12-day tour with stops in America, Cuba and UAE. The trips were spent holding meetings with organisations and leaders in these countries and partaking in public gatherings of the diaspora.
The Chief Minister met with non-resident Malayalis at the Loka Kerala Sabha regional meeting held in New York and addressed massive rally at Thames Square there. The CM also paid visit to the UN headquarters and was accompanied by Minister KN Balagopal, Speaker AN Shamseer, Chief Secretary VP Joy and others.
From the U..S., the Chief Minister took off for Cuba and participated in a slew of events t in Havana. Discussions were also held with the Cuban government and prominent leaders culminating in the Cuban govt expressing keen interest for cooperation with Kerala in healthcare and sports sectors.
In Dubai, CM inaugurated Infinity Centre - an enterprise from Kerala Startup Mission.
