Kochi : The High Court on Tuesday turned down the petition challenging the Lok Ayukta’s 2-judge Bench ruling relating to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The court observed there was no sufficient ground in the petition warranting intervention. The Division Bench was headed by the Chief Justice.
Backdrop : A complaint was originally filed with the Lok Ayukta accusing the Chief Minister and other Ministers for allocating funds from Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to ineligible persons. The Kerala Lok Ayukta after hearing of the petition referred it to Full Bench.
