Thiruvananthapuram : The Ministry of External Affairs approves Chief Minister Pinarayi’s visit to the US and Cuba. The Chief Minister’s delegation will touch down America next week where they will attend the Lok Kerala Sabha Regional Conference in New York. The conference will see attendance of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Speaker AN Shamseer, Minister KN Balagopal, NORCA Resident Vice-Chair P Sreeramakrishnan and a delegation of officials led by Chief Secretary VP Joy.
The Conference is venued at Marriot Marway Hotel in New York Times Square on June 9,10 and 11. NORKA Directors Yusuf Ali, Ravi Pillai, JK Menon and OV Mustafa will also arrive in US to attend the conference.
A grand reception would accorded to Chief Minister by the American Malayali Pauravalli at New York Times after the Regional Conference.
Thereafter, accompanying Chief Minister for visit to Cuba are : Health Minister Veena George, Planning Board Vice Chairman, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Health Secretary.
